In our new fortnightly update, I revisit one of my earlier episodes of Event Ninja News to give you a tip for your next event run sheet.

Watch today’s episode for my full description or keep reading for a quick overview.

Run sheets!

We live our event lives by then, so here is a great little tip we have been using at Venues 2 Events to make them easier to use.

Firstly, we use a simple word template with a two column table… times down the left hand-side and details on the right.

Now, I know details can get pretty lengthy when it comes to run sheets. So, instead of including ALL of the details, we have started adding an appendix at the end.

A couple of examples of things we might include in the Appendix are:

Maps guest lists for various activities dietary requirement list for specific parts of the event

So, instead of clogging that right-hand column up with everything you need to know on the day, add it to the appendix and it will become a much clearer and simpler document.

It also ensures you have everything in one handy document which can be sent to clients and made available to your onsite team.

Do you have any handy run sheet tips? I’d love to hear it. Leave me a comment here and I’ll be sure to reply.

Keep running events, connecting people and changing lives.

x Kim
