Venues: A phone number that can increase your conversion rate

Hi there my venue friends!
Today we chat about one little phone number that can be the difference between winning or losing event business. Yes, really in some cases it can be this simple.
When an event planner finds you online and they take the time to pick up the phone and call you, you know they want to talk to you and you know they want to talk to you about an event – yes!
So please, please, please don’t send them to frustration land where they hear ‘dial 1 for sales, 2 for marketing’ and don’t send them to reception where you can’t control their first experience.
Make sure the phone number you display on your function page and on venue directories is your direct number. A personal phone line, with your friendly voice at the other end or a standout voicemail message that let’s them know their call will be returned.
