We are a certified social enterprise that believes Work Empowers Women. Over the past 9 years, we supported over 1,400 migrant, refugee, and asylum seeker women - our "Sisters" - from 95 countries build a better life in Australia through skills training and work opportunities.

A core avenue in which we have achieved these results is our Social Enterprise store front. We sell handmade products, all made locally and ethically by our Sisters. We also provide opportunity for our Entrepreneur Sisters to develop their own small businesses and sell these products in our shop.

SisterWorks would love to support any of your events through these core services:

  1. Ethical Gift Hampers - give a gift that gives back

    A thoughtful gift for your staff, clients, partners, or volunteers is the perfect way to make them feel valued and appreciated. On top of that, 100% of the profits from your order will help empower women from refugee, migrant and asylum seeker backgrounds living in Victoria.

  2. Pop Up Market - we bring the shop to you

    Hosting a SisterWorks pop-up market will give your employees an opportunity to purchase unique, hand-made, ethical products made by our Sisters, women from refugee, asylum seeker and migrant backgrounds. Run by the Sisters themselves, this free service will bring life, vibrancy and culture to any event.

  3. Speaking Engagement - be inspired by a refugee or migrant woman's story

    Book one of our Sister to speak at your event, either face to face or virtually. Connect with our women's moving stories of migration to Australia. Be inspired by their strength, resilience and gratitude.
