About Palace Barracks Cinema
Palace Barracks Cinemas is located on the city fringe in Brisbane’s landmark retail and commercial hub. The former army barracks is now a local favourite for restaurants, speciality gift shops and entertainment.
The cinema offers spectacular views of the river city with floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the foyer where you can host up to 400 people. Share a glass of wine and cheese plate with your guests before you make your way into the cinema.
Palace Cinemas offer you a complete cinematic experience with licenced cinemas, state of the art technology, luxurious seating and an excellent selection of mainstream and art-house films.
Cinemas can be hired exclusively for groups to run presentations, product launches, conferences, workshops and awards nights or simply to provide your guests with the luxury of a private screening. All cinema hire bookings include a lectern, microphone and spots.

PARKING
Secure Parking at The Barracks now provides 3 HOURS free parking for Cinema Patrons with a validated parking ticket at our Box Office. Access to the secure, undercover parking is available off Petrie Terrace, at the top of Caxton St. After three hours discounted parking rates are available (parking ticket must validated prior to leaving).
BUSES
The site can be accessed by the following buses and are only a 5-minute walk – 61, 375, 377, 378, 379, 380, 381, 470, 475, 476.
TRAIN
Roma St train station is only about a 10-minute walk away and also receives all train lines from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, & the Sunshine Coast.
