The Vue Room is the ideal venue for boutique conferences and is located within the Shearwater Resort overlooking Kings Beach, Caloundra - one of Australia’s most popular seaside destinations. It is just one hour north of Brisbane Airport or 30 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport.
The Vue Room offers a complete range of conference and function facilities which strike the perfect balance between style and practicality. The room is pillarless, bathed in natural light and is flexible enough to be used for any business needs and features an onsite bar and private undercover courtyard and is suitable for hosting groups up to 110 people. The Vue Room can accommodate the technological needs of any function and our professional team of organizers can assist with any requirements for groups small or large. At the Vue Room we recognize that it is the little details that make an event memorable. We are committed to ensuring your event is an outstanding success.
The Vue Room is also a popular wedding venue and can accommodate groups of up to 110 people. The outside courtyard is often used for pre dinner drinks then moving into a room that sparkles in the evening. Besides conferences and weddings, the Resort has hosted many retreats, scrap booking being a specialty.
The 4. 5 star Shearwater Resort offers spacious accommodation with 62 well appointed apartments all with balconies overlooking Kings Beach with fabulous sea views. The 1,2 + 3 bedroom apartments all have full kitchens whilst the studios have kitchenettes. The resort also has a swimming pool, spa, sauna , gym and there is a childrens’ water park within a few metres walk. The complex also has two restaurants, gift shop and new day spa
