Do you send email invitations? This one little thing could increase your rsvp’s

Hello there and welcome to our next episode of Event Ninja News.

Do you send invitations via email? If the answer is yes (and I am guessing in most cases it is) then this episode is for you.

One little tweak to the top of your email invitation could be the difference between your email being deleted or not. I know, it’s super tempting to have a beautiful invitation created for your event but please ensure this is not the only thing on your email.

Why?

Our inboxes are flooded with marketing emails, sales emails, linked-in emails, specials and sometimes those sneaky emails that we never agreed to receive in the first place. Now more than ever you need to fight for attention when you send an email and more importantly stand out enough so your email is read and not sent to the land of quick delete.

If all your email has on it is your beautifully designed invitation as an image, then chances are it wont display properly when sent to your potential guests and in most cases they will have to ‘right click to download’ your image. Now my friends if your email subject isn’t catchy enough or doesn’t tell your prospective guest what your email is about you may well be a casualty of the delete button.

I’m not saying don’t send your gorgeous invitation, just add a little bit of text to the top of the email so your potential guest can see some initial information that will entice them to ‘right click to download’ your image. Remember, this text needs to be enticing, things to include here could be:

– The title of your event – What they will learn as a result of attending your event – Topics that will be discussed during your event
