Located in Victoria Harbour, Docklands and built across two levels with capacity for 550 guests, ATET is a unique floating event space, unlike anything Melbourne has seen. ATET’s diversity provides the perfect unique venue, capable of catering for any occasion, including corporate, weddings, Christmas parties, and other private celebrations.
Designed primarily as an outdoor, open-air space to enjoy beautiful sunny days, ATET - with heating for the cooler months and commercial misting fans for the summer - is suitable for all weather conditions. Fully enclosable with a series of clear PVC panels to enable year-round use, the transparent enclosure provides protection from the elements whilst maintaining the open-air atmosphere.
With d&b audiotechnik sound, creating an aural feast, fully programmable pixel strip LED lighting and a live streaming service, ATET is also designed for large scale events requiring a high level of production. ATET also features a commercial kitchen with executive in house Michelin trained chef offering the best of Melbourne’s locally sourced produce.
LOCATION
ATET is located at North Wharf, Docklands. Walking distance from the CBD but removed from densely populated residential areas, ATET is highly accessible yet uniquely secluded. Situated on Docklands’ last remaining undeveloped industrial wharf, the location offers a distinct sense of privacy and unbridled freedom. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, ATET is an escape from the concrete jungle.
With the dramatic backdrop of the towering Bolte Bridge and breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Melbourne city skyline across Victoria Harbour, the setting invokes a sense of the surreal. In a forgotten place that time left behind, ATET is a floating island oasis.
GETTING HERE
BY CAR / UBER / TAXI
Arrival by car is available via the pick up/drop off zone along North Wharf Road. A short drive from the CBD to the Western end of Collins Street will bring you to the base of North Wharf and the beginning of North Wharf Road. 200m along you will come to our vehicle waiting bays
BY TRAIN
ATET is conveniently located 1.5km from Southern Cross Station. From here, a 15 minute walk West along Collins Street will bring you to us. Alternatively, jump on Tram
number 11 or 48 heading West along Collins Street to cut the walk in half.
BY TRAM
Tram numbers 11 and 48 stop at the end of Bourke St/Collins St. From here, ATET is a leisurely 750m walk down North Wharf Road. Both Trams will take you to and from Southern Cross Station, where you can catch a train to anywhere in Melbourne.
BY BOAT
Add something special to the ATET experience and arrive in style via charter boat. ATET offers docking facilities for boats to arrive directly at the venue by water, so you can step straight off the ferry and onto our floating oasis.
ATET is partnering with the Elizabeth Anne, Melbourne’s most beautifully restored timber riverboat, known as the ‘Royal Barge’ for its history of ferrying visiting royalty. For details, visit www.elizabethannecharters.com

With the ATET stage and dance floor at one end, your own private bar at the other, and plenty of space throughout, the main deck is the ultimate party space. With capacity for up to 450 guests, ATET’s main deck, with its expansive double height ceiling and breathtaking views of Melbourne city skyline across Victoria Harbour, is ideal for larger groups.

Mezzanine Deck
Elevated above the Main Deck below, the Mezzanine Deck is the most exclusive space aboard ATET. With its own private bar and unrivaled views of the city skyline, it’s the perfect space for intimate events of up to 100 guests.
