The Centre has been in the top 4 convention centres in the world 2002-2012, including World ‘s Best Congress Centre 2004, AIPC (International Association of Congress Centres). It was the first environmentally designed public building in Australia and has won many awards for its energy and resource conservation features including the first ever EIBTM environmental award in 1996. The world acclaimed Cairns Convention Centre is everything you would expect from an international standard purpose built venue located amidst an atmosphere and environment the world envies.
We have 22 flexible meeting rooms with flat floor and tiered theatre seating for 30 – 5,000 delegates. Our spaces are ideal for your meeting, trade exhibition, poster session, gala dinner or concert. All exhibition spaces are within close proximity of convention halls and meeting rooms. We offer complimentary, secure storage of exhibitor equipment and collateral for two weeks before and after an event
