Main Hall Main Hall is one of Melbourne Town Hall’s most impressive and glamorous function spaces. Including a grand staircase, adjoining marble foyer with stained glass windows, seventy-foot ceilings crowned with glittering chandeliers, magnificent 800 seat balcony sweeps, and walls adorned with delicate stencilling and authentic wood-panelling. Main Hall’s centrepiece is one of the most beautiful pipe organs in the world; the original wood-carved Grand Organ is the largest in the southern hemisphere. Main Hall is the natural home for extravaganzas: full orchestras and choirs, multi-media product launches, dinner dances, wedding receptions, corporate functions and car launches.
Swanston Hall Beneath an intricately beautiful lighting dome, Swanston Hall’s rich green tones, timber panelling, and art deco grace invite you to enjoy a refined atmosphere of cultivation and finesse. This mezzanine level is perfect for pre-function drinks, refreshment breaks, seminars and dinner functions.
Yarra Room Formerly the Council Chamber for the City of Melbourne, this gracious room imparts gravitas and dignity to any type of event. Featuring an in-house sound system, and in close proximity to a variety of break-out rooms, the Yarra Room is ideal for seminars, meetings and weddings.

Supper Room The only room on the third floor, the Supper Room is all nineteenth-century elegance, lush textures and exclusivity.
