About Roundhouse
From its humble beginnings as the venue of choice for the biggest music acts over the decades, Roundhouse has undergone extensive refurbishments to deliver an unrivalled event experience suited to a range of events.
Over two levels, the venue encompasses the main room (1,000 pax), eight flexible breakout spaces, two bars and a leafy beergarden and can accomodate conference and events up to 2,200 delegates.
The iconic architecture is the real showstopper. Flooded with natural light from every angle, it feels light, airy and is a distant departure from the stuffy university lecture hall which is all too familiar for conference goers.
Rooms are kitted out with top of the range audio visual equipment. With a modular stage, a concert-grade flown PA and all new truss, event productions just reached a new level.

Situated at the heart of UNSW Campus in Kensington – 15 minutes from Sydney CBD, 13 minutes from the airport and 9 minutes from Coogee beach.
Parking: Roundhouse is located in the North-West corner of UNSW Kensington Campus. Download our parking map for directions on where to park.
Light Rail: 15 minutes from Sydney’s CBD. Catch the L3 Kingsford line and disembark at the UNSW Anzac Parade stop.
Bus:
- 392, 393, 395, operate along Elizabeth St in the city.
- 370 from Leichardt, Glebe, Newtown Green Square and Coogee.
- 400 from Bondi Junction, Airport, Rockdale and Burwood.
