About Back Bar
From the moment you walk through Back Bar’s door, you sense an air of style and sophistication. The room is exquisitely fashioned with a richly coloured Axminster carpet, ornate couches, gilded mirrors, flocked wallpaper and a pressed metal ceiling reminiscent of the glitz and glamour of the 1920’s.
At Back Bar you will feel like you are in your own private and decadent lounge room with dim lamp lighting and an open wood fire radiating a warm ambience throughout. Back Bar provides the perfect setting for holding that next special occasion or corporate event.
With over 10 years experience in planning and hosting private events we have become one of Melbourne’s favourite function venues. We have two function spaces available for use seven days a week with a total venue capacity for 150. Both rooms have video and DJ facilities and are licensed until 3am Thursday to Saturday (or on the eve of a public holiday), and until 1am other days.

Gold Lounge
The Gold Lounge suitably named for its golden interior and pressed metal ceiling offers a function space full of old world charm. Located on the first floor the elevation of the room provides a more secluded function space which can accommodate groups of up to 110.

Red Lounge
The Red Lounge is aptly named with it’s opulent rich red décor and comfy red velvet couches. Dim lamp lighting and an open wood fireplace radiate a welcoming and cosy ambience. The Red Lounge has a capacity for up to 60 guests.

Outdoor Area
Back Bar’s outdoor area is shared by both the Red & Gold Lounges. Tables and chairs are provided in the area which is licensed until 1am
