About Cascade Brewery Bar
The Cascade Brewery Company, established in 1824, is located in Hobart at the foot of the majestic kunanyi, Mount Wellington. Here, Australia’s oldest operating brewery crafts a range of exceptional beers for Tasmania.
The Cascade brewery is a great spot to enjoy your favourite Tasmanian brew. Our picturesque bar has a wide selection of local beverages and our chefs serve a delicious menu of beer snacks, share plates and hearty meals to enjoy in our restaurant or out in our three acres of heritage gardens.
Looking out over majestic Mount Wellington, the brewery facade, and our three acres of heritage gardens, Cascade Brewery Bar is an essential Hobart experience. We also host private events and functions, providing an adaptable venue with areas suited to weddings, conferences, and all manner of celebrations.

The Ponds - Ceremony Space
Tucked away at the top of the gardens, this charming ceremony space offers an intimate setting surrounded by natural beauty. With two serene reflection ponds, the space features a floating pier where couples can exchange vows against a lush backdrop of greenery and the historic brewery facade. The setup includes comfortable seating for guests and a signing table.
