About Hobart Convict Penitentiary
With the option of two large courtrooms (65 to 130 pax) and unique outdoor spaces for a marquee (150 pax), the ‘Convict Cocktails’ package includes short tours with costumed events staff through the tunnels to solitary cells that still remain under the chapel.
A range of add-ons are available including ‘On The Spot Arrest’, ghostly escorts to the gallows, Trial By Jury comic musical, convict trial drama, Gaol to Ale performance and much more.
There are also regular day tours, ghost tours and theatrical events 7 days a week, providing some fantastic options for pre-and post-conference touring and partners’ activities.
